Welcome to The Ojai Deer Lodge Restaurant

Thank you for your interest in booking your next event at the World Famous Deer Lodge! The Lodge is the ideal location for group lunches, dinners and celebrations because of its stylish and cozy atmosphere, excellent cuisine, friendly service and diverse clientele. Our delicious American cuisine includes everything from smoked trout rellenos to fresh, seasonal fish and baby back ribs from our wood-burning smoker. Our chef, David Gonzalez, was named "a top-three" chef by Wine Spectator Magazine in 2001/ 2002.

If your party is larger, we can accommodate up to 170 people using the entire restaurant for a beautiful sit down dinner. A total of 250 can be served for a cocktail party. You may also rent out our beautiful, private outdoor patio boasts a large rock fireplace, a rustic log and bamboo roof and a slate floor. Your guests will be seated at comfortable, conversation-friendly round tables. We have plenty of outdoor heaters on our patio, so everyone will be extra cozy. Please see below for details and rates.

Buyout Fees for Restaurant Rental
• $1200: Buyout fee Monday- Wednesday
• $2000: Buyout fee Thursday-Sunday
• $300: Buyout fee for Buffalo Patio Monday-Sunday (day/night)
Includes: Paper napkins, flatware, glassware, candles, chairs, & tables.

General Information & Policies
• Gratuity: A 20% service charge plus 7.25% sales tax will be added to all food and spirit sales for
    parties over 12 people.
• Décor: We’ve done it all. Just ask, and we’ll make it look spectacular!
• Set up Fee: Varies. Based on attendance and labor for set up.
• Rental Fees: Varies. Based on attendance and additional requests not included in our buyout.
• Cake Cutting Fee: $3.00 per slice
• Sorry, no outside wine or alcohol is permitted.
• Guarantee: The event office must know the exact number of people attending your event a minimum of
    7 days prior to the event. You will be charged for the reservation number or the number of guests that attends,
    whichever is greater.
